Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, San Sebastian Spain 1988
I took this photo on a rainy day in San Sebastian Spain in 1988. I loved loved loved the novel Don Quixote and was delighted to find him and Sancho still riding proud and tall all these years later!!
It was assigned for a class I had way back in high school. I started the unabridged version and quickly changed to the much shorter (and very readable) abridged version! Now I just read the news and good blogs like yours!!
I tried, but I was never able to make it through the novel.
